Government delegates and officials meeting at a GETC institutional session
GOVERNMENT & INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS

Energy is national infrastructure.

GETC 2027 brings together public institutions, diplomatic missions, cities, regions and international organisations. Government participation is managed through invitation, delegation and accreditation routes rather than sold as a public ticket category.

THE REASON

Why government participation matters?

Energy policy now reaches far beyond the energy ministry.

The programme spans six core areas: energy security and resilience of critical infrastructure, industrial competitiveness and manufacturing policy, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence and data-centre demand, transport, mobility and urban systems, investment, permitting and infrastructure finance, and research, innovation and technology transfer.

PATHWAYS

Six institutional routes.

Official Delegation

A coordinated public-sector or mixed institutional delegation.

High-Level Speaker / Guest

Ministerial, parliamentary or diplomatic programme participation.

Country / Regional Presence

Institutional presence via a Country Street or trade mission.

Bilateral / Institutional Meetings

Structured meetings via the protocol process.

WHAT GETC OFFERS

A cross-sector view of the technologies shaping the next energy system.

Direct access to companies and industrial stakeholders working on deployment.

Connection with investors and financial institutions involved in infrastructure finance.

International peer exchange with cities, regions, governments and organisations.

A platform for investment attraction, market presentation and international cooperation.

Access to universities, research institutions and applied innovation.

Visibility for strategic public initiatives where relevant to the programme.

WHAT GETC MUST NOT PROMISE

No purchased proximity to officials.

Guaranteed meeting with a specific political or diplomatic figure. Guaranteed access to a closed governmental session. Commercially purchased proximity to ministers or ambassadors.

Confirmed before communicated.

PROTOCOL PRINCIPLES

Confirm official title, institution and rank before public communication.

Do not publish a high-level guest before written confirmation and communications approval.

Coordinate arrival, accreditation, security and holding areas where required.

Define speaking, seating and bilateral-meeting protocols in advance.

Keep Government / VIP / Sponsor entitlements separate in the access-control system.

Do not promise table placement or proximity to officials as a commercial benefit.

FAQ

Still have questions?

What is GETC 2027?

GETC 2027 (Global Energy Transition Congress) is a two-day international congress in Valencia, Spain (9-10 April 2027) bringing together government, industry, investors, technology providers and researchers to address the systems shaping the future of energy.

How many public ticket types are there?

There are three public ticket tiers (Visitor, Delegate and Executive) plus a fixed-price VIP Leaders Pass. Each tier unlocks a different level of access to sessions, networking areas and hospitality.

Can I buy a Government or Investor ticket?

No. Government & Institutional and Investor Access are approval-based roles rather than public ticket tiers. Apply through the Government & Institutional or Investor Access pages and the GETC team will confirm eligibility.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are refundable up to 30 days before the Congress, minus a processing fee. After that window, tickets can be transferred to another attendee but are no longer refundable.

Can I upgrade my ticket later?

Yes. You can upgrade to a higher tier at any time before the Congress by paying the price difference between your current and new ticket.
